SALES ENGINEER – ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTS FOR OMAN
Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree holder
Computer skills: Well versed with power point, word, excel, Outlook. AUTO CADD knowledge
is desirable.
GCC Driving License: It’s Mandatory.
Area of work: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
Experience 5-7 year’s relevant experience in Product distribution and project sales. Agency
products of Power tools, consumable, hardware’s to cater distributors and traders in local market.
Apart from this Project sale of some products like partitions, toilet cubicles and rolling shutters etc.
Duties:
Learn and understand the product features, function and applications related to the various
industry requirements.
Understanding the specifications and ability to read engineering drawings.
Preparing the compliance statement
Identifying and establishing contact with potential customers, consultants and contractors
Educate consultants and specifiers and direct end-users on the products specification and
application along with the service offering.
Proactively generating new business opportunities by regularly meeting new leads in the
market.
Maintaining good relation with existing customers, generating opportunities and
upgradations. Weekly visits to key accounts is a must.
Preparation of calculation, sales offer, obtaining price request.
Designing and delivering product presentations based on the necessities and competitive
sales condition.
Responsibilities:
Meeting monthly/annual sales goals and targets.
Updating the sales forecast on Weekly basis
Making the right offer with regard to the specification offered, delivery time and payment
terms.
Payment collection on regular basis as and when it’s due without any delays.
Product planning/Scheduling
Providing support in project execution wherever necessary.
Knowledge of Architects and Engineering Consultants, End users and Contractors in Oman
market and with good contacts.
Industry knowledge and trends.
Tendering procedures
Customer purchase pattern
Self-motivated and flexible and independent.
Ambitious and result oriented.
Ability to sell the right solution based on the customer needs and wants.
Ability to prepare and present solutions via power points demonstration confidence in
offering the right solution.
Well-disciplined with good time management skills and setting out priorities.
Strong negotiation and sales aptitude to deal with customers of different ethnic background.
A good team player.
Willing to travel across the country.
Languages: English; other languages (Hindi, Arabic) will be considered as an added advantage, but are
not a prerequisite
Reporting: Reporting to Sales Manager/Divisional Manager
Age: Age Below 35 years
Salary: Gross R.O.500/-per Month (Basic + HRA/other Allowance) + Turnover Incentive
(negotiable based on the candidate profile & experience)
